![]() ![]() On paper I think the S3422DWG is the right pick but you may have to play some panel lottery to get a good one and in general be prepared that you might experience some wonkiness with this generation of "low cost" VA UWs. I personally had some issues with mine (and VA technology) but I think it would still be worth considering for the right price. The S3422DWG is slightly newer and should have a better warranty coverage/experience. Also I think 1500R is too aggressive but I haven't personally used it so I can't say for sure. The G34WQC is considered the best "bang for buck" monitor in this price range by a lot of folks but that is an older model now and Gigabyte's warranty experience is supposedly not great. The ASUS is a budget monitor for content creators with superb ergonomics and wide viewing angles. edit: it does look like Samsung releases fw updates so maybe it's not all bad: (this was for the 27" though) The ASUS ProArt Display PA278QV is much better than the Samsung Odyssey G5 C27G55T however, they arent intended for the same use. I don't trust the G5 just because most of the Odyssey monitors outside (and even the including) the G9 have had weird issues that took months for Samsung to resolve. ![]() UWG Nick, a 21:9 Youtube channel with gameplay videos "Wide as Fcuk", Youtube channel for 21:9 info and game reviews Rule 5: No Box Pictures Related sub-reddits: Rule 4: No referral links, URL shorteners, or selling used monitors.
